Deposits and Payment Policy

 

Non-Refundable Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure a spot for the group trip. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, withdrawal, or changes to the trip itinerary.

 

Payment Transfer for Future Group Trips: All payments made more than the non-refundable deposit may be applied to a future group trip organized by Travelosophi. The credit is valid indefinitely. Refunds for excess payments outside of the deposit are only honored in cases of emergency such as medical emergency or death.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: In the event of cancellation or withdrawal from the group trip,  the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. Any additional payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be applied as a credit towards a future group trip, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.

Notification of Intent to Use Credit: If the credit is to be used for a future group trip, notification to Travelosophi in writing must be provided at least 90 days before the intended future group trip date.

Waiver and Release of Liability

Assumption of Risks: Participation in the group trip organized by Travelosophi may involve inherent risks and dangers, encompassing but not limited to travel-related hazards, activities, and events. All such risks associated with participation are voluntarily assumed by the Participant.

Physical Fitness and Health: The Participant certifies their good physical condition and possession of the requisite fitness level to engage in activities associated with the group trip. Any disclosed medical conditions that may affect the ability to partake safely have been communicated to Travelosophi.

Release of Liability: The Participant releases and discharges Travelosophi, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, and causes of action, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or in connection with participation in the group trip.

Photographic Release: The Participant grants Travelosophi the right to take photographs and/or videos during the group trip and to utilize these materials in promotional materials without any financial compensation.

Accuracy of Travel Itinerary: The Participant acknowledges that the travel itinerary provided by Travelosophi is based on the best information available at the time of its creation. However, unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, transportation delays, and events beyond Travelosophi's control, may necessitate changes to the itinerary. The Participant agrees to accept any such changes as inherent to the nature of group travel.

Compliance with Rules: The Participant agrees to adhere to all rules and guidelines established by Travelosophi and its representatives during the course of the group trip.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: The Participant acknowledges and understands the cancellation and refund policy of Travelosophi for the group trip.
